With your help, we can keep this Shelter for the LGBT+ community in Manipur, North East India open.

Can you imagine not having a safe place to stay?

Unfortunately, for LGBT+ people in India, their own homes are often not a safe place. In such cases, having an LGBT+ friendly shelter is a matter of life and death.

Many young LGBT+ community members are facing discrimination and violence at home and public places. This leaves them homeless and in search of a shelter, where they can take refuge, receive care, legal help and other essential support.

At Ya_All in Manipur, a city in the North East of India, these young people receive the shelter and care they need

But they are running out of funds!

In order to continue to provide shelter, skill development for livelihood generation and legal support, they need your help!

Donate now, to make sure, this shelter home will be a safe space for LGBT+ community in need.

Here is how Ya_All has made a difference already:

“During the Covid lockdown, I received a support package from Ya_All. I had also taken part in their online & offline workshop programs regarding mental health, information on sexual and reproductive health and rights, as well as entrepreneurship training. This has provided me with invaluable knowledge.

Ya_All has created a safe space for the community. And the self-care session during the peer support workshop has helped with my self-esteem.”

Oshin (she/her)

"If Ya_All wasn’t there, I would not have been able to know the many things that I know now, and this would have made me a clueless and fearful person. Because of Ya_All and their help, I have been able to open up about my identity, learn new things which are helpful and have been fearless day by day."

Zealot (he/him)

“I have been part of the LGBTI+ movement at Ya_All and a player at the Ya_All trans men football club. Ya_All has supported me in many ways. One such thing is the support I got during the COVID pandemic with rations and medical kits.”

Christi (he/him)

“I would not have begun my hormone therapy and might not have changed my name and gender to what I desire [if Ya_All did not exist]”
